He is survived by: his children, Maria McDermott (David) of Watertown, Michael (Susan) of Springfield, Mark of Springfield and Michelle Klein (late Chris) of Westboro; his grandchildren, Ryan, Nicolas McDermott, Lauren and Christopher Klein; his great grandchild Jack; his siblings, Bonnie Mele of Pittsfield, Sandy Lovato of Pittsfield and Liz Unbehind; and his caregiver Amber Hoffman. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
