It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antoinette Vekakis of West Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Galiatsos and Eva Galiatsos; her husband Michael Vekakis; her son Michael; and her siblings, Eddie, Steve, John Galiatsos, Mary Katsounakis, Bessie Kalmakis and Despina Danalis.

She is survived by: her children, Nicholas Vekakis (Sandee), Thomas Vekakis (Michelle), Elaine DiCarlo (Paul) and Maria Londo; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Andrew, Krista DiCarlo, Michael, Matthew, Thomas, Samuel Vekakis, Sarah Sharp, Micaela, Madeline and Timothy Londo; her great grandchildren, Mason, Dylan, Joaquin, Sebastian DiCarlo, Madison Conway, Christopher, Taylor Sharp, Jace Vekakis and Jayden Londo; and her siblings, Victor Galiatsos (Mary), George Galiatsos (Magda) and Olga Captain. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
