Betty Spring Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2025, at the age of 90, Betty Spring of West Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Bradford, Vermont passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Spring to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd P. Kidder and Mable A. Kidder (Richardson); her husband William H. Spring; and her sisters, Freda Kingsbury (Kidder) and Joyce Carbee (Kidder).
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Spring St. John (Jeffrey) of East Longmeadow, Sherri Spring Montagna of Wilbraham and Kimberly J. Dotiwalla (James) of West Springfield; her siblings, Byron Kidder of Bradford, VT, Linda Minickiello of Keene, NH and Donna Wing of Bradford, CT; her grandchildren, Audrey St. John, Michael Montagna, Gregory St. John, Victoria Montagna Kostopoulos and Alexandria Dotiwalla; and her great grandchild Theo Kostopoulos. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curran-Jones Funeral Home - West Springfield (109 Main St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Agawam Congregational Church (745 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at the Hillcrest Park Cemetery (895 Parker St, Springfield, MA 01129).
