Charlotte Lakin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Lakin of West Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Charlotte leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Charlotte may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Palmer and Ruth Palmer (Sheldon); her husband Charles W. "Bud" Lakin; and her siblings, Shirley Littlefield, Mac Palmer and Frank Palmer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cyndi J. Lakin of West Springfield and Karen R. (James McInerny) of West Springfield. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Curran Jones Funeral Home (109 Main St, West Springfield, MA 01089).
