He was predeceased by: his parents, Dudley Ramsdell and Helen Ramsdell (Shippie); his wife Joyce L. Ramsdell (Hathaway); his sister Jean I. Ramsdell; and his granddaughter Angela Santiago.
He is survived by: his children, Donna J. Wolanin (David) of Westfield and Scott D. Ramsdell (Kathleen) of Agawam; the mother of his children Nancy Mitchell; his grandchildren, Shavonne, Bethany, Brittany Santiago, Allan (Stacey), Brianna, Christian Ramsdell, Jake and Becky Wolanin; and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Valerie, Kelsii, Mason Ramsdell and Carson Wolanin.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's memory may be made to Shriners Children's New England, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104—a cause close to his heart.
