He was predeceased by: his parents, Giorgios Roumeliotis and Chrisoula Roumeliotis (Roumbas); and his sister Despina. He is survived by: his wife Irene (Alexopoulos); his children, George Roumeliotis (Jennifer Biseinere) and Chrisoula Mahida (Vijay Mahida); his grandchildren, Daniel, James, Chloe Roumeliotis, Irini and Prem Mahida; and his siblings, Yianni, Ilias Roumeliotis and Panagiota.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dionisios' memory to St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, Springfield.
