It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Lane of West Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 13, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Lane and Elizabeth Lane (Quinney). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Lane (Wheeler); his grandchildren, Donald, Brett, Ashley, Peter, David, Nicholas, Emma, Kaylin, Connor and Cameron; and his brothers, Leroy, Robert and Kenneth Lane. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home (109 Main St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (47 Pine St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
