Grace E. Stierle Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace E. Stierle of West Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 27, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert N. Stierle; her parents, J. Huntley McCarthy and Helen McCarthy (Keefe); her son Robert Stierle (Dorothy); her son-in-law Robert Goodsell; her siblings, Helen McCarthy and Robert; and her sister-in-law Joyce McCarthy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Helen James (John) and Jeanne Goodsell; her grandchildren, Mark Stierle, Maureen James (Joseph Sergienko), Michael Stierle, Caitlin Vienneau (Andrew), Andrew Goodsell (Rachel), Douglas Goodsell (Christina) and Mary-Anne Polom (Steven); and her brother Daniel McCarthy (Evelyn). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
