We announce the death of Joseph W Nevers Jr. of West Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 91. Joseph will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph W. Sr. Nevers and Mary Nevers (Kulik); his wife Marlene Bouley (Bouley); his children, Linda (Russell Turner) and David Nevers (Krista Buoniconti); his grandchildren, Callie Fruiwirth, Freddie Fruiwirth and Samantha Fruiwirth; and his great grandchild Mackenzie Fruiwirth.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home (1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM. A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM.
Donations can be made to Wounded Warriors or Shriner's Children Hospital.
