Kathryn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Lane and Theresa Lane; and her sister Maryann Lane. She is survived by : her siblings, Jay Lane (Mary Lou), Jim Lane (Becky), Michael Lane (Jean), Edward Lane (Ali) and Diana Lane; her husband Paul O'Brien Jr.; her children, Kimberlie Adams (Jon), Matthew O'Brien (Amy), Colleen Goodreau (Jim) and Kathleen O'Brien (Frank); and her grandchildren, Connor, Sadie, Nolan, Penelope, Viola, Theodore, Alexis, Frankie, Antonio, London and Liam. She is also survived by many in-laws, Ya-ya's, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home (1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St Thomas Church (47 Pine St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A burial was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at the Agawam Center Cemetery.
