We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2025, at the age of 81, Lawrence L. Hammond (West Springfield, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hammond and Violet Hammond (Brown). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hammond (Parisi); his sons, Jeffrey (Tazia) and Mark (Heather); his brother Steven; and his grandchildren, Delaney, Declan, Emma, Logan and Madison.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home (1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ma Veterans' Memorial Cemetery (1390 Main St, Agawam, MA 01001).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1120, Framingham, MA 01701 or to St. Thomas the Apostle Parish, 47 Pine St., West Springfield, MA 01089.
