With sadness, we share the passing of Lillian Agnes (Bielek) Romaniak (West Springfield, Massachusetts). Lillian, born on September 6, 1928, passed away on October 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Helen, Walter Rostek Sr., Mary, Felix "Phil" Taskey, Stella, Lawrence "Ernie" Bartyzel, Irene and Stanley Krach; her grandson Joshua Romaniak; her husband Gene; her son David; and her nephew Bob.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan (Jim Richer) and Cindy Romaniak (Howard Bernard); her daughter-in-law Debby Romaniak; her son Chris Paul (Marge); her grandchildren, Sarah Dawson (Chris), Kris Romaniak (Robyn), Jane Richer, Jamie Romaniak (Jess Pope) and Barry Bernard (Meghan); and her great grandchildren, Ivan Romaniak, Grace Dawson, Lily Romaniak, Alivia Romaniak, Dillon Romaniak, Elyse Romaniak, Waylon Bernard and Aralyn Bernard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home (1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the St. Thomas Church (47 Pine St, West Springfield, MA 01089).
