She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Henry S. Arnold and Catharine Arnold (Ludwig); her husband Richard F. Nims of Springfield; her daughter Erica Glasser; her son-in-law Mike Glasser of Cumberland, MD; her son Jason Nims; her daughter-in-law Maria Bezaitis of Portland, OR; her grandchildren, Maya Glasser, Isaak Glasser, Theodore Nims and Lucas Nims; and her caregivers, Kathy, Julie, Jaz, Mary and Fay. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
