With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Loretta Petersen of West Springfield, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Loretta left this world on September 13, 2025 at the age of 64, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Loretta shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Loretta farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her mother Rita Petersen (Cayer). She is survived by: her father Claus Petersen; and her brother Ken Petersen.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home (109 Main St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at the St. Jerome Cemetery (125 St Jerome Ave, Holyoke, MA 01040).
