She was predeceased by: her parents, James J. Nichols and Suzanne Nichols; her husband John C. Sarkis; her grandson Justin Ryon; and her siblings, Nicholas Nichols (Celia), Edward Nichols (Barbara), Dolores Mancini and Odette Toomey (Joseph).
She is survived by: her children, Mary Sloan (Rodney) of Scotland, Ann Ryan (Michael) of Virginia and Joseph Sarkis (Ann-Marie) of West Springfield; her grandchildren, Katie Rudd (Jason Rudd), Connery Ryon, Laura Kraver (Nicholas) and Anthony Sarkis; her great grandchildren, Emilia and Amber Rudd; and her brother-in-law Albert Mancini of Ludlow. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family members and friends.
Her family requests that memorial donations be made in her memory to Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 375 Island Pond Road, Springfield, MA 01118 or the Richard S. Thomas, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Saint Anthony Maronite Catholic Church.
