He was predeceased by: his father Theodore Marshall Wood (Reilly); and his sister Nancy Wood. He is survived by: his wife Ellen J. Wood (Murphy); his father Michael J. Wood, Jr.; his daughter Hope Church; and his siblings, John Wood of North Carolina, Mary Parker of Adams, Kathleen Regalmann of Pittsfield, Daniel Wood of Pittsfield and Richard Wood of Pittsfield. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mother of Hope Church (840 Page Blvd, Springfield, MA 01104). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Saint Joseph Cemetery (222 Pecks Rd, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
His family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to Mary, Mother of Hope Church, 840 Page Boulevard, Springfield, MA 01104.
