He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Hourihan (Healy) and John Hourihan; his brother Michael Hourihan (Eileen) of New York City; and his son Patrick. He is survived by: his grandchild Sandy; his wife Sandra A. Hourihan (Leahy); his children, Kathleen Morrison (Christopher), Timothy (Christine), Brendan (Susan), Daniel (Kristen) and Brian (Lauren); his grandchildren, Kayla Serard (Daniel), Christopher (Lara), Conor Morrison, Colin, Ryan, Emily, Alyson, Patrick, Maeve, Cooper, Quinn, Beckett, Declan and Callan Hourihan; his great grandchildren, Jack and Cole Serard; his brother James Hourihan (Adrienne); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia and John Kraus.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home (1043 Westfield St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas Church (47 Pine St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 12th 2026 at the St. Thomas Cemetery (420 Kings Hwy, West Springfield, MA 01089).
