It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Kulig of West Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kulig and Anna Kulig (Borkowski); his wife Ann Kulig (Hudzikiewicz); and his siblings, Catherine Brochu, Helen Jason and Donald Kulig.

He is survived by: his sons, Donald Kulig (Gail) of Chandler, AZ and Joseph Kulig (Liz) of West Springfield; his daughter-in-law Yolli of Chandler, AZ; his grandchildren, Richard, Christopher, Joey, Tiffany and Chanel; and his siblings, Laura Cincotta, Irene Karaskiewicz, Edward Kulig and Phyllis Barbanera.

We ask that all those attending services wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's name may be made to the Day Brook Village Activities Fund, 298 Jarvis Avenue, Holyoke, MA 01040 or to the West Springfield Police Assn., 26 Central Street, West Springfield, MA 01089.

A cop's cop who everyone held in high regard. I feel sad that Ann and Richard left so close together....a deep loss...at the same time, they are together again.
