He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Thompson and Mary Thompson; and his siblings, Richard Thompson, Janet Mann and Barbara Rodgers.
He is survived by: his wife Cliffie Thompson; and his children, Paula Thompson Beckwith (Richard), Rhonda Thompson Beckwith and Ronald Neil Thompson (Lauren). He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and friends.
