With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara M. Laizer of West Springfield, Massachusetts, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 41. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, we release Sara into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of our lives. And as we carry her memory forward, may we find comfort in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Sara's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by : her mother Rhonda Laizer. She is survived by : her father Robert Schafer; her son Avery Cockerill; her sisters, Kaylee Piela, Jade Marcotte and Paige Schafer; her close friend Michael Rigalli; and her grandmother Judith Starke. She is also survived by two nieces, three nephews and many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Curran-Jones Funeral Home - West Springfield (109 Main St, West Springfield, MA 01089). A prayer was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Curran-Jones Funeral Home (109 Main St, West Springfield, MA 01089).
