He was predeceased by: his parents, John Green and Ann Green (Doherty); and his brother Edward Green. He is survived by: his wife Debra (LaGuercia); his children, Noah Elliot and Jordan Marie Green; his siblings, Michael Green, Fran Krauss, Patti Allard of Chicopee and Mary Roccanti; and his siblings-in-law, David LaGuercia and Darlene Roache. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
