He was predeceased by: his parents, William Heelon and Irene Heelon (Gaudette); his wife June Heelon (Maxwell); and his sister Eileen LaChapelle. He is survived by: his sons, Mark Heelon (Michele) of Feeding Hills and David Heelon (Kelly) of West Springfield; his grandchildren, Madeline Heelon, Jonathan Heelon and Ryan Heelon; and his sister Gail Zelis of York, PA..
