She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Nelson and Gwendolyn Nelson (Hoeft); and her grandson Christopher Barbieri. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher Barbieri (Joan) of Selden, Stephen Barbieri of West Townsend and Richard Barbieri (Angela) of Sunnyside; her granddaughter Katie Barbieri (Tom Flesher); and her great grandchild Carter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Parish Church of Groton or the Groton Hill Music Center.
