He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Ferrill and Dorothy Ferrill (Blake); and his brother Michael Ferrill. He is survived by: his wife Amy Ferrill (Williams) of Wareham; his children, James Ferrill (Lauren) of Wareham and Jennifer Godsoe (Robert) of Norton; his grandchildren, Noah, Conor and Dinah; his brother William Ferrill of Venice; Forrest Ferrill of Sandwich. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Silva Funeral Home (80 Broadway, Taunton, MA 02780). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard's memory may be made to Patriot Guard Riders.
