He was predeceased by: his spouse Laureanne Horne; and his parents, Donald Horne and Lucille Horne. He is survived by: his brothers, Donald and Kenneth; his children, Derek (Nicole) of Saugus and Jennifer (Chris) of Plymouth; and his grandchildren, Ava, Rhys, Ryleigh and Rowan.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hallett Funeral Home (273 Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA 02664).

Over his long career, he helped countless students gain the confidence and courage to build and create projects in his woodshop.
