McNeil (Hogan) of Westborough; his son Donald; his daughter-in-law Heather McNeil of Coronada, CA; his granddaughters, Lauren of Washington, DC. and Abigail of Coronada, CA.; his sister Lorraine Brookbank of Lr; and his brother-in-law Paul Chambers of Cape Charles, VA..

“So sorry to hear of Archie's passing. I met him at the Rock. I was warming up Apache Ace on the mile track during a race. Each time I turned him the training direction he would pick up speed. By the time I turned him toward the pacock I didn't have control of him. Archie was standing by the open door to the paddock. Saw I was in trouble and stopped Apache. My arms were so tired I couldn't hang up the lines. Great guy. Kathy maybe we could get together someday and catch up.”
