He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Hughes (Conroy) and Francis Hughes; and his brothers, Paul and Thomas Hughes. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Hughes Boudreau and A. William Hughes (Steven Patrick); his niece Renée Cather (Michael Cather); his nephews, Ryan Boudreau (Weena (Kanchanatiwa) Boudreau), Michael Hughes and Liam Patrick-Hughes; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Helena, Jacob, Morgan, Tucker and Preya.
