Elaine Lapato Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine Lapato of Westborough, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Elaine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Elaine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Thurber and Nellie Thurber (Venuti); and her sister Maryann Whitney of South Elgin, Illinois.. She is survived by: her husband John Lapato; her daughters, Jill Lapato of Westborough and Jane Lapato of Queensbury, NY; and her brother Herbert Thurber of Dawsonville.
