We announce the death of Jacqueline I. Smith of Westborough, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 8, 2026, at the age of 79. Jacqueline will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles H. Day and Anita C. Day (Wood). She is survived by: her husband David R. Smith; her children, Stephanie A. Trethaway (James) of Westford, Suzanne M. Conley (Patrick) of Sutton and Daniel R. Smith of Mexico; her grandchildren, Ryan, Caitlin Conley, Lauren and Ella Trethaway; and her sister Judith Seale (Peter) of Connecticut.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pickering & Son Westborough Funeral Home (62 W Main St, Westborough, MA 01581). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at the Pine Grove Cemetery (106 South St, Westborough, MA 01581).
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester, MA 01602, or to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org. Consider a donation, as requested by the family.
