She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen S. Bates and Shirley C. Bates (Holt); her husband Thomas F. Benson; and her brother-in-law William Sienkiewicz. She is survived by: her siblings, Michael Bates (Nancy) of Westfield, Kathleen Zygmont (Rick) of Southampton and Christine Sienkiewicz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
