David Porter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Porter of Westfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid David farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Porter and Theresa Porter (McMahon); his sister Susan Tirrell; and his daughter-in-law Judy Rodriguez. He is survived by: his wife Linda Porter; his children, Richard Porter (Mary Beth), James Porter (Tricia), Kevin Rodriguez and Debbi Clark (Myrl); his brother Richard Porter (Dorothy); and his brother-in-law Robert Tirrell. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
