He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Nemec and Enice Nemec (Hanton); and his wife Joanne Nemec (Czarnecki). He is survived by: his children, Karen Hendrickson of Westfield, Donald M. Nemec of Anchorage, AK, Sharon Nemec of Liberty, SC and John J. Nemec of Westfield; his grandchildren, Adam Hendrickson, Kimberly Baker (Bradley), Allyson Moauro (Brandon) and Sarah Nemec; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Moauro and Mina Baker.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Home (76 Broad St, Westfield, MA 01085). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, August 20th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
