He was predeceased by: his wife Jessie Florek (Pozicki); and his daughter Joanne Makara. He is survived by: his daughter Linda McCarthy (John) of Ware. He is also survived by son-in-law, his six grandchildren, along with several great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
