He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Onik and Helena Onik; his sister Kazimiera; and his brothers-in-law, Julian Dorobisz and Stanley Bartkowicz of Canada.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Onik; and his daughter Caroline Onik.
