It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George F. Berz Sr. (Westfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael A. Berz and Wilhelmina M. Berz (Schlemmer); and his siblings, John M., Michael A., Joseph M., Agnes and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Berz (Guay); his children, George F. Berz, II of West Springfield, William M. Berz of Florida and Kimberly A. Berz of West Springfield; and his grandson Elliott B. Berz of West Springfield.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George's name may be directed to the Veterans Home of Holyoke, 110 Cherry St. Holyoke, MA 01040 where he received exceptional care in the final months of his life.
