She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pennington and Virginia Pennington (Asbury); and her husband Roger C. Jacobs. She is survived by: her children, Linda Dawson-Hayes of Agawam, Retha Dawson of South Carolina, Wilburn Dawson Jr. of Westfield, Karl Dawson (Gail) of Chicopee and Mark Dawson (Laurie) of Granby; her siblings, Mary L. Smith of Westfield and Perry Pennington of Connecticut; and her grandchildren, Johanna Steinboch, Grant Dawson, Therese Dawson, Chelsi Dawson, Kailee Dawson, Brittany Dawson, Cassie Dawson and Jennifer Hart.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Firtion-Adams Funeral Service (76 Broad St, Westfield, MA 01085). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Firtion - Adams Funeral Service (76 Broad St, Westfield, MA 01085). A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at the Pine Hill Cemetery (140 W Silver St, Westfield, MA 01085).
