It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Valente Jr. of Westfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 22, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Valente and Margaret Valente; his brother Gary Valente; and his son JJ Valente. He is survived by: his wife Judith Valente (Smith); his brother Fran Valente; his daughter Catrina Valente; his daughter-in-law Michelle Valente; his granddaughters, Felisha Valente and Haley Valente; his stepchildren, William Cottengim Jr. (Kimberly) and Wendy Bard (Matthew); and his stepgrandchildren, Kelsey Shultz (Peter), Connor Cottengim, Taylor Bard and Cody Bard (Chris Bard).
