He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ensign and Bessie Ensign; and his brother Bill Ensign. He is survived by: his wife Joan Matchett of West Springfield; his grandchildren, Taylor LaRusso, Sarah LaRusso, Andrew LaRusso, Gillian Ensign, Nicholas Ensign and Brielle Ensign; and his sister Gail Ensign of Agawam.
