She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Ameele and Elizabeth Ameele. She is survived by: her husband Jim Irwin of New York, NY; her son Timothy Irwin (Emily) of Lenox, MA; her grandsons, Theodore and Oliver; her children, Stephen Irwin (Adrian Carlos) of Phoenix, AZ and Libby Irwin of Westfield, MA.; her brother Kevin Ameele (Debbie); and her sibling's children, Nicholas and Abigail. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Westfield Boys and Girls Club and/or the Jimmy Fund in honor of Kathie's lifelong dedication to children.
