He was predeceased by: his parents, Laurent G. Methe, Sr. and Phyllis E. Methe (Chevalier); his daughter Diane Metayer; and his brother Philip Methe. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Methe (Fleming); his children, Michael Metayer, Michelle LaChapelle (Kenneth), Eric Methe and Cheri Ribbe (Christopher); his stepdaughters, Charlene Teo (Steve) and Emily Otero (Luis); his grandchildren, Cherie Smith, Christopher Tropasso, Bryanna Mellen, Michael Mellen, Grant Ribbe, Nina Ribbe, Talia Ribbe, Matthew Teo, Catherine Teo, Ezra Otero and Christina Otero; his great grandchild Elliot; and his sisters, Jacqueline Chechile (Richard) and JoAnne Beins (Ross).
In lieu of flowers the siblings of Eric Methe have established an assistance fund on his behalf.
