She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Nutting and Porter Nutting; her daughters, Deanna Austin and Julianne Ethier; and her siblings, Kevin Nutting and Joyce King.
She is survived by: her husband Wallace Austin; her son Wade Austin; her daughter-in-law Simone Backstedt; her grandchildren, Nicole (Andrew), Matthew, Sara (David), Mollie and Michael; her great grandchild Tyler; her sister Debbie Pike; her brother-in-law Dennis; and her brother Wesley Nutting. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and neighborhood children.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Firtion Adams (76 Broad St, Westfield, MA 01085). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Firtion Adams Funeral Service (76 Broad St, Westfield, MA 01085).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to have donations made to the American Cancer Society or to the Sister's Caritas Cancer Center at Mercy Medical Center.
