He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank J. Royland and Lillian M. Royland (Janse); his wife Susan M. Royland (Kenary); his grandson Christopher Plasse; and his siblings, Ed "Rollo", Frank "Sonny", John "Jack", William "Bill", Michael "Mike" and Carol.
He is survived by: his children, Gina (Shawn), Ralph Jr. (Tanya) and Randy (Christina); his grandchildren, Daniel, Devon and Landon; his great grandchild Daniel Jr.; and his sister Karen "The Boss".
