He was predeceased by: his parents, Teofilo Aponte and Gloria Aponte (Chalue). He is survived by: his siblings, Luis Aponte (Heather) of Springfield and Marylne West (Gerard) of Mastic, NY; his nieces and nephews, Nicole Aponte, Emery Aponte, Amelia Aponte, Denise Gary, Willie Gary and Tito West; and his friend Tracy Aponte (Guynup).
