It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert D. Serre of Westfield, Massachusetts, born in North Adams, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 20, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leo J. B. and Regina E. Serre (LaGrand); his son Kevin Daniel; his siblings, Eugene, Nathalie and Tommy; and his brother-in-law Walter Therrien.

He is survived by : his wife Gail (Gosselin); his children, Christopher (Colleen), Ann, Marie (Darryl) and Scott (Alice); his grandchildren, Samantha Liptak (Jake) and Nicholas; his great grandchild Jacob Liptak; his sisters, Jacqueline St. Pierre and Marguerite Thornton (Lavariere); and his close friend Raffle. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was a machinist by trade and worked at several machine shops in the area, working full-time until the age of 87 when the world shut down because of COVID.
