She was predeceased by : her parents, Wladyslaw Radomski and Stanilawa Radomski (Stomsky); her husband John M. Whalen Sr.; her brothers, Walter, Stanley, Mitchell and Carl; and her grandson Shawn Whalen.
She is survived by : her children, John M. Whalen Jr. (Joanne), Michael P. Whalen (Suzanne), Susan A. Pretola (James) of Westfield, Cindy M. Whalen of Westfield and Lisa R. Whalen of Westfield; her grandsons, Kevin Herlihy, Joel Whalen, Jeffrey Herlihy, Michael Whalen, James Whalen, Andrew Whalen, John Pretola and Daniel Whalen; her great grandchildren, Alan Herlihy, Kayla Herlihy, Lance Herlihy, Liam Herlihy, Tyler Whalen, Noelle Herlihy, Nora Whalen, Brynn Whalen, Katherine Whalen, Sawyer Whalen, Evan Whalen, Kestral Whalen, Parker Whalen and Colin Murphy; her sisters-in-law, Irene Radomski and Kathleen Murphy; and her pet Annie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
