He was predeceased by: his wife Mary L. Murray (Lawler); and his parents, Edward Murray and Julene Murray (Moylan). He is survived by: his sons, Paul Jr. (Lisa) of Groton, John (Darlene) of Tyngsboro, Joseph (Mildred Rodriguez) of Lowell and Timothy (Jennifer) of Fair Lawn, NJ; his siblings, Margaret Doyle of Needham, Edward (Jeannette) of Beverly and Thomas of Winchendon; and his grandchildren, Patrick, Stephanie, Ryan, Julia, Edward, Nicholas, John, Megan and Kasey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made in his name to The Lowell General Hospital Team Walk for Cancer Care.
