In loving memory of Raphael A. Mattson of Westford, Massachusetts, who departed this world on April 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Raphael leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raphael A. and Mary E. Mattson (Dillon); and his siblings, Marilyn O'Leary, Ruthann Masters and Tommy.
He is survived by: his wife Jayne M. (Matthews); his children, Cory (June Mattson), Susan (Mattson), John Pierce of Hampstead, NH, David (Ana Mattson) and Robert (Mary Beth Mattson); and his grandchildren, Kelsey Mattson, Diana Mattson, Allie Pierce, Amy Rossetti (Christian), Brittney Sullivan (Matt), Travis Mattson (Amber), Bryce Mattson (Erin) and Ruby Mattson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home (24 Worthen St, Chelmsford, MA 01824). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish (107 N Main St, Westford, MA 01886).
