She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Melanson; her parents, Warren Entwistle and Gertrude Entwistle (Awalt); her son Charles Melanson; her sister Shirley Hovanasian; and her brother-in-law John Melanson.
She is survived by: her son Robert "Scott" Melanson of Lowell; her daughter-in-law Patricia Grandalski (Leo) of Tyngsboro; her grandchildren, Charles Melanson (Elaine) of Tyngsboro, Kara Burnham (James) of Chelmsford and Carlee Melanson Montijo of Lowell; her great grandchildren, Angelise, Charles, Addison, Brady, Crystal Perkins and Guillermo Montijo; and her cousin Virginia Kirane of Chelmsford.
