He was predeceased by: his parents, William Karkane and Dona Karkane. He is survived by: his wife Karen Karkane; his children, Kevin, Kurt Karkane and Laura Hope-Dupuis; his son-in-law Ken Dupuis; his brothers, Eric, Todd and James Karkane; and his grandchildren, Landen, Gwen and Porter Dupuis.
