Martha Gauvin Obituary
The memory of Martha Gauvin of Westminster, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 74, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Waino "Whitey" Matilainen and Marion "Skippy" Matilainen (Skamarycz); and her son Adam J. Gauvin. She is survived by: her husband Albert J. Gauvin Jr.; her daughter Amy Abbott; her grandchildren, Alex Gauvin, Malakai Gauvin, Gavin Abbott and Luke Gauvin; and her siblings, Anne Halliday, Jane Schulz, Michael Matilainen and John Matilainen. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery (111 Glenallen St, Winchendon, MA 01475).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Martha's memory to Alyssa's Place, 297 Central Street, Gardner, MA 01440.
